Courtney DeSoto
Executive Director
Courtney DeSoto is the Executive Director of Mentoring Cochise Kids and a lifelong advocate for children and youth. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, graduating in 2023, and has been teaching since the age of 18. With over seven years of experience working with both preschool and school-aged children, Courtney has built her life and career around supporting and uplifting youth.
Courtney has been involved with Mentoring Cochise Kids since 2024, playing a key role in revitalizing the program. Her passion for mentoring is deeply personal, shaped by her own experiences growing up and a heartfelt desire to ensure that no child falls through the cracks. She believes every child deserves a support system, a safe space, and someone who truly sees and believes in them.
In addition to her professional experience, Courtney is a proud mom of two beautiful boys. Being a stay-at-home parent has deepened her gratitude and further strengthened her commitment to being a positive role model for children in her community.
